Variety of ways to volunteer
The Partner Program at Discovery Center offers a unique opportunity to participate in and support the Museum's creative and educational exhibits and programs. Many of our volunteer opportunities are for one-time events, while others require ongoing commitments. The Museum's partner program has the flexibility to match its needs with your schedule, skills, and interests.
Discovery Center of Springfield has a number of volunteer opportunities. Whether you have a passion for science and creating exhibits, or you have a head for numbers, we have a position for you! Volunteer benefits include passes to Discovery Center as well as other prizes and incentives.
Discovery Center staff quickly realized these skills help us to meet our mission of inspiring life-long learning and have integrated these tools into our staff and volunteer training to improve our visitors' experiences.
If you have not been through this training in the past year or would like a refresher, we encourage you to sign-up for one of the next two training sessions---either Wednesday, February 8th or Thursday February 16th 4-6pm. Send an e-mail to apettit@discoverycenter.org.
